Purpose

Hello there! My name is Bethany, and welcome to my blog. This blog was created to serve as my senior project, as I am currently a student in my last year of high school. Unfortunately, I do not have much experience with blogging, so this will be a challenge for me and will most likely not be the fanciest of blogs, but I will try my absolute best. For this blog, I will be undergoing a fitness journey to learn how to transition to living a healthy lifestyle. As of right now, I am nowhere near living a healthy lifestyle. I struggle with eating right and exercising regularly. Unhappy with my body, I have done short diets in the past, and have had small successes in weight loss. And while that was exciting, I would quickly gain the weight back. I realize now that I cannot continue that cycle because it is not beneficial to my health, or my view of myself in any way. So, I am now dedicating myself, my time, and this blog to finding easy healthy recipes, challenging exercises, and tips to strengthen the mind in order to begin truly living a healthy lifestyle that will not only be good for my body, but also for my will power and confidence. I have been doing research for the past month to acquire proper knowledge for things that improve health as well as things that should be avoided. I will be blogging weekly, along with logging my progress and continuing my research until the scheduled date for project completion at the end of March. My hope for this blog is that I will be able to try and provide tips that will help other people who, like me, have always had a difficult time exercising, eating right, and staying motivated, so that they can start living the way they want to. I also hope that this blog can serve people who already enjoy eating healthy as a place to find new recipes to try. If this project helps just one person, then it will be worth it to me.
